MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!
Literally, that’s what Mark Manson is trying to tell us in this book. Mind your own business and fix yourself, that how you not give a F*ck about other people’s sh*t, instead, we should focus on ourselves and learn that even if we fail, it is always part of our struggle, its part of every success. “Pause if you have to, but never stay on that state, cry if you have to, but never be there for long, when you are ready, wipe your tears and fix your crown, keep walking and never look back those painful nights”. This is what I have been telling myself all the time. Ever since that painful separation (which I may share on a different blog post…or not… idk), I have told myself this over and over again. The thing is Pain demands to be felt, so even if you keep on shoving under your couch or you chain it on a post, it will always come back to you.
So as weird as this sounds, when you are in a painful moment, Feel it, savour every pain that you feel, cry for days, do what you have to do, because the more you push it away, it will always come back anyways. This is when people starts to rely on drugs and alcohol because that’s their way of coping with their problems. This is when Mark asked the question “what kind of pain are you willing to sustain?”comes into mind. It made me think at 2 in the morning and up until now, I have no answer to it. I mean, I have faced plenty of crisis in my life so far and I have faced them alright… I guess. But if you are gonna ask me what kind of pain, I seriously don’t know. I have not even thought to start sorting them out, lol!

Mark Manson have took part of my thinking processes for a bit while reading his book. I couldn’t say anything bad about it. It’s just straight to the point kind of conversation, it said everything that I needed to hear but has been refusing to hear for years. And that’s when you know you are a good author. And also, on the side note, Manson have inspired me to keep blogging. I am not a newbie in blogging, I have been blogging even before snapchat existed, I just stopped because I never see future with it and I decided to stick with an 8-hour office job. But here I am now, restarted my site and swore to myself I would keep going this time, because I find that this is my passion, this is what I enjoy doing. Manson on the other hand, decided to quit his job and continued blogging and travelling. This is what he meant with Failures, it is part of every success. You can be indecisive at one point in your life but always choose what you think would make you happy in a long run. Don’t be scared to fail, be glad you are experiencing it, it is part of learning and growing. If you failed, atleast you tried. Meh
P.S.
Looking forward on reading “Everything is Fcked” book. And I wonder what question would Mark be asking me at 2 in the morning.
