Lets talk about second chances. This book is such a sucker at this. I have read it back in 2016 and then reread it again recently and hmmmm…. Second chances, CLASSIC.
Are you the type of person that gives Second Chances? Multiple Chances? Or whats done is done?
I can confidently say that i can somehow relate to Jennifer Stirling. I was feeling myself reading this entire book because I could totally relate to her. Would I give a second chance? Yes and No. This kind of question is quite tricky because it depends on the situation. I do believe that Anthony and Jennifer were destined to be together and it is crazy how many times fate have tried to put them together but there has always been something in between that stops them. I could relate to Jennifer in all honesty because I would definitely run after him. I would try all my best to reach him once again even after a missed opportunity. When you love someone, you don’t just stop there, you still try your best and if it doesn’t work, atleast you have tried everything, still there will be no regret. And that’s why I don’t blame Jennifer either when she just suddenly stopped and just let the destiny do its magic again even if it takes decades. After all, what is meant for you will never pass you

It is true. Its always about right timing. Only time can tell. And I am sure a lot of us could relate to it. I know a lot of us are not really great fan of “waiting” and I was one of them until I have to learn the art of patiently waiting and how it is crucial. People nowadays are impatient that when they ask for something they expect miracles to happen right away. Well It doesn’t work that way. Just like Jennifer and Anthony who have waited for decades before they could reunite again only til then it became perfect. Some of us doesn’t have to wait for that long, well they’re lucky, but then there were some who still waits and wonders if it still going to come. Good things comes to those who wait, I know its an old saying but it makes a lot of sense.
Could I just point out how it is to be married to a narcissist like though. Jennifer and Laurence’s relationship have very well portrayed how it is like and its eye opening and yes there are couples out there who goes through this. It is always where an abusive relationship starts. Not everybody would agree to me with what im about to say but I would definitely leave my husband for the sake of my kid’s future. I am not gonna let my kid grow up in a toxic environment. The negativity that my kids could later on acquire from what they see and/or hear is scary that the thought alone is unbearable. And think of this, if that narcissist partner of yours could treat you like shit right now imagine how much more he or she could do if you go on together for years or decades even? Stand up for what you think is right for your kids. Its not love if it includes hurting and hitting. And yes, Men can be abused too.
